some overexposure and some playing around with photoshop: et voilà!
i finally found out how to add this romantic passtell look to my pictures. and i love the results.
basically, any kind of filter will do, but you will get different results. i mostly used warm filters with red or orange colours.

yesterday the postman brought us a huge pakage with a cute and tiny little kitty inside.

I am her second owner, she is called Mimi and still a little bit shy as you can see.
I think about renaming her, i like the name Babette.
There is still much work to do on her: She got quite dirty over the time the previous owner played with her. I am not sure how to properly clean her yet. she has quite some stains on her body, but her face is my biggest worry.

*the return of the puchi muse

thanks to Pomponette, who asked me for a comissioned dress for her ACB (until we found out, that the dress was still listed on my etsy.. lol) i feel my petit muse coming back.

I havent worked on Petit Blythe dresses for quite a while it seems.
I was often looking at my fabric stash, thinking what i could do with it.... but.... nada.
not a single idea came into my mind. i think i am kinda bored from always the same fabrics, but it´s really hard to find cute and tiny printed patterns here. i am jealeous of all those people around asia, who have easy access to those wonderful craft things. ordering through the internet on the other hand is kinda annoying for me, although there are sooo sooo many beautiful fabrics to purchase. I would even travel all around the world to Japan, only to hang around in Tokyu Hands again and go on a big shopping tour.

But anyway.... i already have some new ideas in my head again!
Kukki looks so great in this lovely polka dot patterned bright yellow. bringing some summer feeling back into my everyday life which was filled with too much rain this year.

i have this baby for already quite some time with a full film inside.
to my own shame, i have to admit, i was too lazy to get the film developed.
What a waste of time! How many wonderful pictures could i have by now already?
i love the results!
Double exposure is so much fun! This is by far my favorite pic.

what´s in my bag, when i go on holidays:

over the weekend, Mr.P and me took a short holiday and went to italy by car (taking about 5 hours from where i live). After a long time of rainy season, it was great to see the sun, even if it was for only two days, and relaxing at the beach of Lake Garda at about 32 ° C.

i made a new crochet hat for blythe. it is available on the
ETSY.


I used handspun and handdyied yarn from local farmers market and added a little ribbon.
Of course we need the cute touch on it!

Miss Lele wanted to pose for it and looking through our clothes stash... she decided for some dark blue dress going with the hat, with high boots and tights.... oh... this feels like autumn! It has been raining for weeks here and summer is nearly gone. how sad is this!

a new little girl arrived....and she is tiny tiny tiny!
She ♥s rain....
Her name is Pluie. (which is french for: rain)


i crocheted the dress on the way to work and took the pictures on my way back. It was raining cats and dogs the last week, as it was on that day. packed with three bags, trying to balance my umbrella with one hand and my camera with the other hand while on my knees... i must have been a funny picture beside the street where we had our little photo shoot.
