 I really love them, they look darling on middie and odeco! I plan to do some more gingham checked dresses with different stamp motives.

Meanwhile, I also finished little beaded mama pig.

 Became my new mobile phone charm.

*moss green on blue

another Petite Blythe dress finished this weekend.
I like the colour combination of the blue with the pretty moss green yarn.

*dress for Petite Blythe and Wanda

yesterday i finally managed to finish two dresses which i started last month.

first one is for Petite Blythe. I already made one for Petites with this fabric which was not more than a scrap.
However there is place for a last tiny dress from it. So maybe a third one will follow someday.

 This Petite Blythe has her first showing off in picture today. She is a Petite Aztec Arrival which i bought to customize, but ... oh well.... i sooo suck in it. Not that i can´t properly do it, but once i hold a stock girl in my hands, i adore them so much, that i just can´t come over me to touch the sweet faces anymore. So she will stay stock as all the other Petite Girls in my family.

Second dress i finished is bee dress for Wanda Wonder Frogs. To the simple crochet dress i added some colourful beads and this cute bee appliquee which is actually a cute little sticker from Accessorize.
The dress is also quite cute looking on Middie Blythe, but i have no picture of it yet.

*new OF for Wanda Wonderfrog

i used the last free week in april to crochet some dresses and salopettes for wanda wonderfrogs

the dress fits as well Wanda and Middie Blythe and is a simple fit to slip in dress.

The salopettes / trousers were really fun to made. 

 The frogs eyes are little felt circles with black beads and the mouth is glued on felt applique

 marine style is always in-style in spring and summer - also little frogs want to wear in-style swimming suits!
i love the early 20´s swimmsuit style -  looks so cute on frogs :)

*Wanda and Middie dresses

after a long break it seems for me, i finally crotcheted two new dresses for the shop.
 They are fully crotched, fit to slip in with no closure in the back.

 

 made for Wonderfrog, i figured out they fit Middie Blythe quite well too!
The blue ribbon is recyled rement ribbon attached with fabric glue. i thought something was missing on the dress until i found them. i only had two of them, so this will be only two dresses with them.
Hope you like them, they will be listed in the shop this evening.

 one week left before university starts again. planning to make a few more etsy listings.

*Petit Four crochet dresses

i retook some pictures for the store www. tafettaday.etsy.com
some overexposure and some playing around with photoshop: et voilà!
i finally found out how to add this romantic passtell look to my pictures. and i love the results.
basically, any kind of filter will do, but you will get different results. i mostly used warm filters with red or orange colours.

*ribbons ♥ hats

i made a new crochet hat for blythe. it is available on the
ETSY.


I used handspun and handdyied yarn from local farmers market and added a little ribbon.
Of course we need the cute touch on it!

Miss Lele wanted to pose for it and looking through our clothes stash... she decided for some dark blue dress going with the hat, with high boots and tights.... oh... this feels like autumn! It has been raining for weeks here and summer is nearly gone. how sad is this!

Pluie is just the cutest and makes me laugh everytime i see her happy face :D

*petit felt dresses

i have been working on a couple of new dresses for petit blythes.
They come in a new design this time and are all made of felt with handstiched details.
working with felt is quite easy, although you have to be carefull of the needle size you take. a needle too big could leave little holes in the felt which doesn´t look nice.
i had a lot of fun with this simple design and i think they all look quite cute on the little girls.

*long waited WIPs finished

today i finally finished these two small but very different projects.
first of all: when you look at the pictures, you are not colourblind.
If you see a lot of blues and whites in the pictures,
yes, i used the same backgrounds in them. ;).
I was too lazy to change >_<;

let´s move on to the projects:
The first was a little Matryoshka stiching i started month´ ago.
but the linen was very small and since the time the stiching was finished i was wondering
what to do with it.
I finally gave up and made a simple little needle pillow. i have to admit: i had no better idea.
It now hangs on my sewing machine and is actually quite usefull there.

The second projects is this little dress for Wonder Frog Wanda and/or Alice Cherry Blossom.
The second (the second!) sleeve was missing for already quite some time.
Adding the sleeves was quite annoying and boring.
After finished i attached a little bee sticker and secured it with fabric glue.It looks quite cute on it, don´t you think?
It will be added to the shop some time this week.

last but not least, what made me choose this background is the dress from tomorrow.
i wanted to shoot some pics for the shop. Yesterday evening was already too dark in the room to get some decent pictures and colours of the dress.
Will be adding this dress to the shop too, or just sent me a message if you are interested. :D


I still think Merry looks quite cute in stripes.
Will make some more dresses in this design.
